We also advise about general nutrition and health, food related problems such as intolerances and allergies, weight loss programmes and sports nutrition.
Individual targeted advice
A lot of dietary information is freely available, but it is important that any changes to your diet are wholly suitable for you. At the Waldegrave Clinic we undertake a detailed analysis that will look at your individual requirements, lifestyle, and make targeted advice for what you need to achieve a full and healthy diet.
Food intolerances and allergies
When food is causing you discomfort or triggering an adverse body response we help investigate whether you are suffering a food intolerance or allergy. Once this is identified we advise how you can manage the trigger to your allergy or intolerance and also provide you with a properly balanced diet so you are not missing out on essential nutrients due to avoiding certain foods.
Weight loss programmes
At the Waldegrave Clinic we help you to lose weight the healthy way. By reviewing your current dietary habits and lifestyle we will provide you with a plan that meets your recommended intake requirements and through goal setting ensures your weight loss can be managed and achieved through realistic and healthy steps.
Sports Nutrition
Whether you are training for a specific event such as a marathon, triathlon or other race, participating in regular club training such as team sports or just embarking on a new exercise regime it is vital you also spend time ensuring that your diet is supporting you.
An optimal diet for a sportsperson is one that maximises training potential and performance whilst maintaining health. Through detailed nutritional and body composition analysis, using your training schedule as a framework, a detailed plan will be provided that ensures what, when and how much you eat and drink will help you achieve your sports and fitness goals.
